SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in Iowa, Kathy has worked in various positions on the Gallaudet campus over the past 20 years, including as a residential night assistant, resident assistant, student development liaison, and most recently as school counselor at the Model Secondary School for the Deaf (MSSD) and Kendall Demonstration Elementary School (KDES), respectively. She also had a brief stint as school counselor at the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (MSAD). Kathy joined the Gallaudet University Academic Advising department in Fall 2008. She enjoys working with students of various ages and seeing them blossom, and is thankful she is able to be a part of their personal growth.
